A patient in a critical condition with her life at constant risk for some odd reason is being treated in a hospital. An unknown man made an attempt to cut off her life supply. The CID are called in and are promptly updated on the issue.

The case becomes more complex when the CID recognize the significant role facial reconstruction surgery plays, with multiple characters with their own motives. ACP Pradyuman couldn't have asked for a better welcome to the department.
